MEMANGGIL.CO - The Community Empowerment and Village Development Department (PMD) of Blora Regency urges the public to report any indications of abuse of authority by Village Heads or Village Officials without fear.
Head of PMD Department of Blora Regency, Yayuk Windrati, emphasized that reports related to abuse of authority will be promptly processed in accordance with applicable procedures.
Yayuk explained that if there are reports related to abuse of authority, the PMD will follow up on them in coordination with the Village and Subdistrict Governments.
"To facilitate reporting, the public can submit reports through the official social media of PMD Blora Regency, such as Instagram. However, for written reports, they must be accompanied by clear identification. After that, we will coordinate with the Subdistrict and Village Governments to follow up on the report," said Yayuk to the media, written on Wednesday (22/1/2025).
Regarding protection for reporters, the PMD Department of Blora Regency provides assurance that community members who report will not experience pressure or intimidation. Yayuk ensured that her party will maintain the confidentiality and security of the reporter throughout the follow-up process of the report.
Furthermore, Yayuk revealed that although there has been no formal socialization regarding the reporting procedure, her party continues to encourage the public to actively report suspected cases of abuse of authority.
"We haven't done formal socialization yet. However, usually when we visit villages, we convey this information directly. Yes, we hope the community can be proactive in reporting if they find any violations," she added.
In the event that a Village Head or Village Official is found to have abused their authority, the PMD Department of Blora Regency is committed to taking decisive action in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
