MEMANGGIL.CO - Hundreds of students from TK Islam Darussalam had a thrilling experience in an educational event held by the Cepu Sub-District Fire Department, Wednesday (21/2/2025).
The event, which took place at the Cepu Sub-District Fire Department's yard, aimed to introduce fire handling techniques from an early age and to familiarize children with the profession of firefighters.
With great enthusiasm, the children participated in various interesting activities, ranging from getting to know fire extinguishing equipment to practicing fire extinguishing techniques directly.
They appeared enthusiastic as they watched and tried out the firefighting equipment used by the Damkar personnel, and even got to play with water, which was part of the fire handling simulation.
The Head of TK Islam Darussalam School, Mrs. Ambar, expressed her support for this activity.
"By introducing children to the important role of firefighters, we hope they can learn more about safety and danger related to fire," she said."
The parents also felt happy seeing their children having so much fun.
"The atmosphere was even more lively, the children were very happy playing with water while learning about the noble tasks of firefighters," said Alif Mutmainah, one of the parents who attended the event."
