To address this issue, the Blora Regency Education Office (Disdik) emphasizes the importance of digital literacy as a preventive measure against online bullying.

According to Sunaryo, Head of the Blora Regency Education Office, cyberbullying is not just a minor issue of juvenile delinquency, but a serious problem that requires special attention. In some cases, this behavior can even trigger feelings of despair that lead to suicidal actions.

Low digital literacy can indicate an individual's inability to manage digital information wisely, which can ultimately lead to cyberbullying," said Sunaryo, as written on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Further, Sunaryo explained that digital literacy is not just about technical skills in using digital devices or media. Rather, it encompasses an individual's ability to find, evaluate, create, and use digital information intelligently, critically, and wisely.

Sunaryo also invited students to become pioneers in preventing bullying in schools.
