MEMANGGIL.CO - The Blora Regency Education Department continues to strengthen its commitment to developing inclusive education for children with special needs.
Sunaryo, Head of the Blora Education Department, stated that his party is currently designing the formation of a Disability Service Unit (ULD).
He explained that the ULD is a program aimed at providing special support to children with special needs throughout Blora.
Sunaryo explained that the ULD is planned to be a service center that will involve psychologists and trained educators, including teachers from special schools (SLB).
"We are building inclusive education by planning the Disability Service Unit. Later, this ULD will facilitate children with special needs, who will be assisted by experts such as psychologists and competent teachers according to their needs," he said, as written on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Although the ULD has not yet been fully established, several initial steps have been taken.
Currently, the Blora Education Department is building a rehabilitation room in a nearby building and in the Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB).
"The process is still in its early stages, but we have started building rehabilitation facilities. We will also work with psychologists to adjust services according to the needs of children," he added.
The formation of the ULD, continued Sunaryo, is part of an effort to improve the quality of inclusive education in Blora Regency.
"With this step, it is hoped that children with various special needs will receive direct guidance from experts. In addition, it also ensures that they receive education that suits their conditions," he said.
